'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his desire in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the initial important trophy of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he earlier was, and would definitely consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
